Using regional data and a descriptive quantitative approach, an econometric model aligns fishermen's catch behavior with the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) principle. Equilibrium occurs when opportunity cost equals the marginal value of fish catch. The model integrates environmental considerations into fisheries accounting and marine resource management.
