Alternatives, such as controlled-release fertilizers (CRF) like Neem-coated urea fertilizers (NCU) have several benefits, are required to address these issues.  To forecast the release of nutrients from NCU, this labor-intensive research uses mathematical modeling, with a focus on developing and analyzing mathematical models that use ANN. Utilizing a GRNN to compute the amount of nutrients released from NCU, the contours of nitrogen release were predicted. By using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, the nitrogen release contours were estimated experimentally in the lab. The findings demonstrated the striking similarity between the GRNN model's projected and experimental values.
