The work supports open access and common technologies with the catch of fieldwork in the proximities of the Antarctic and Artic poles. The paper discusses the motivations and existing experiments that will be openly available, other sources of data and lastly an architecture for the C-Room \u2013 a cyber-physical classroom where separate and remote activities can be digitally merged to benefit stakeholders across the globe.
