{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,8,2]],"date-time":"2025-08-02T16:55:56Z","timestamp":1754153756975,"version":"3.41.2"},"reference-count":0,"publisher":"ECMS","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,6,24]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>This paper presents a procedure for estimating the diffusion parameter occurring in a bacterial colony model to ensure the best possible fit of the functions that describe the concentration of the nutrient and the density of the active bacteria to their known measurement values. The location of the measurement point and the measurements read from it are disturbed by errors of various values in order to demonstrate how these errors translate into the reconstructed results.
