The models were created using COMSOL Multiphysics and applied to both one-layer and 3D spacer textile geometries represented by representative volume elements (RVE). Airflow through the air and porous textile domain was described using the Navier-Stokes and Brinkman equations, while heat transfer was modelled using the energy equation. Numerical simulations were performed to evaluate air velocity fields, temperature distribution, and thermal comfort properties of the investigated textile.
