Conceptual system models capture system architecture and composition, but they do not contain the interface-level detail that simulation environments require for execution. This is particularly the case in collaborative engineering scenarios where sub-models from multiple suppliers must integrate as a coupled system. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and languages such as SysML v2 provide the formal foundation for capturing system architectures with precise semantics, and the System Structure and Parameterization (SSP) standard provides a tool-independent format for describing simulation system structures. However, existing approaches lack a generalized mechanism for transforming SysML v2 models into SSP representations that preserve system topology independently of component implementations. This paper presents DDTLab, an open-source web-based platform that automates this transformation through structural semantic mapping at any level of compositional complexity.
