Culture"],"abstract":"<jats:p>Yong Chun Chinese Language Center merupakan salah satu lembaga kursus bahasa Mandarin yang berada di kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu masalah yang dihadapi Yong Chun saat menjalankan bisnisnya serta mencari solusi untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dalam bentuk strategi-strategi tertentu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap 7 orang narasumber yang dipilih. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mencari tahu masalah serta solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, terdapat 4 kelompok strategi yang dapat diterapkan Yong Chun untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi, yang pertama adalah strategi SO, yaitu dengan cara menetapkan kelas online sebagai salah satu program, meningkatkan kegiatan promosi program Kemitraan Sekolah. Berikutnya adalah Strategi WO yang terdiri atas 2 strategi yaitu melalui peningkatan kegiatan promosi perekrutan pengajar dan perbaikan kualitas jaringan internet pada kantor pusat, kemudian strategi berikutnya adalah Strategi ST atas 2 strategi yaitu memberikan potongan harga kepada pelanggan serta mempertahankan citra dan reputasi positif yang dimiliki oleh Yong Chun. Interculturality calls for the acquisition of a complex set of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that makes any separation between language and culture in foreign language teaching untenable. This article examines the potential of literature for an intercultural approach to Chinese language teaching in Italian upper secondary school, also known as \u2018high school\u2019. A reflection on what constitutes Chinese culture and the place of literature in the teaching of Chinese provides the background against which an empirical pedagogical experiment is presented. The teaching experience involves the use of a Chinese authentic literary text to promote an intercultural approach to two seemingly unrelated topics: Chinese New Year travel rush and sexual harassment. The activity shows the affordance of literature for developing an intercultural approach to diversity and complexity beyond simplification and orientalizing Seiring perkembangan teknologi, nilai-nilai tradisional mulai memudar, terutama nilai-nilai keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menganalisis adegan-adegan dalam serial. Melalui analisis adegan-adegan tersebut, ditemukan bahwa hubungan suami-istri mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat penting terhadap keharmonisan keluarga dan tumbuh kembang anak. Hubungan yang harmonis antara suami dan istri dapat menciptakan lingkungan keluarga yang stabil, suportif, dan penuh perhatian, sehingga membantu anak membangun rasa percaya diri dan menghadapi tantangan hidup. Temuan ini mencerminkan nilai-nilai kekeluargaan dalam Konfusianisme dan memberikan referensi berharga bagi keluarga modern. Penelitian dapat memperdalam pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai keluarga Konfusianisme, memandu hubungan keluarga modern, dan mendorong kehidupan keluarga yang penerus menjaga nama Tionghoa restorannya hingga berhasil dipertahankan hingga sekarang. Kriteria restoran yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Chinese restaurant di Surabaya yang berdiri sebelum orde baru, menggunakan nama Tionghoa dan masih dilanjutkan oleh keluarganya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pendiri menggunakan bahasa Mandarin untuk restorannya dengan cara masing-masing. Ada yang menggunakan karakter Mandarin, ada yang menggunakan angka Arab, dan ada yang menggunakan huruf latin di depan restorannya, namun di dalam restoran menggunakan karakter mandarin. Walaupun menggunakan angka Arab dan huruf Latin, namun dalam pelafalannya tetap menggunakan bahasa Mandarin. Selain itu, sub etnis pendiri juga mempengaruhi dalam pemberian nama restoran dan cara penyebutannya. Pusat pengajaran bahasa Mandarin adalah usaha dalam bidang jasa atau layanan. Ketika pelanggan menggunakan layanan, pada dasarnya akan memperhatikan kualitas layanan. Pada penelitian ini, penulis meneliti bagaimana tanggapan siswa terhadap kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Sutorejo dan indikator-indikatornya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, mewawancarai tiga belas orang siswa Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Sutorejo untuk menganalisis tanggapan mereka mengenai kualitas layanan Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Sutorejo berdasarkan teori HEdPERF yang dikemukakan Abdullah (2005),\u00a0 serta mengukur kepuasan mereka terhadap layanan yang mereka terima menggunakan indikator kepuasan yang dikemukakan oleh Tjiptono (2005). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki tanggapan positif terhadap kualitas layanan yang didapatkan. Mereka menyatakan bahwa layanan Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Sutorejo sangat baik dalam setiap faktor. Semua responden juga menyatakan bahwa mereka secara umum puas dengan kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh\u00a0 Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Sutorejo. Meskipun terdapat beberapa hal yang menimbulkan ketidakpuasan, hal tersebut tidak mempengaruhi kepuasan mereka secara keseluruhan terhadap Xin Miao Chinese Language Centre Dalam menjalankan kehidupan di Indonesia, etnis Tionghoa khususnya di Indonesia bekerja dalam berbagai macam bidang. Bidang-bidang tersebut antara lain adalah sebagai pedagang, petani, pengrajin maupun yang lainnya. Di zaman Orde Baru juga terjadi beberapa hal yang membatasi etnis Tionghoa-Indonesia, hingga di era saat ini orang Tionghoa di stereotipkan sebagai \u201cTionghoa punya toko\u201d. Meskipun bertahun-tahun telah berlalu, namun stereotip itu masih terus ditujukan kepada etnis Tionghoa. Penulis berfokus meneliti stereotip ini yang bersumber pada masyarakat Tionghoa dan non-Tionghoa di Indonesia, khususnya kota Surabaya. Dengan tujuan untuk meneliti lebih lanjut apakah stereotip \u201cTionghoa Punya Toko\u201d ini masih relevan di era saat ini. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teori Stereotype Content Model, untuk dapat melihat kedudukan stereotip terhadap orang Tionghoa yang ada di Indonesia ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Senior Tionghoa Hakka Surabaya meskipun memiliki Bahasa Ibu Bahasa Indonesia, mereka tetap menggunakan Bahasa Hakka untuk berkomunikasi dan memelihara hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisa kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data kuesioner dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebenaran bahwa para Senior Tionghoa Hakka menggunakan Bahasa Hakka untuk berkomunikasi memelihara hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Teknik triangulasi yang dilaksanakan dengan membandingkan data hasil pengamatan dan data hasil wawancara, membandingkan data hasil wawancara dengan teori-teori yang ada, dan mereduksi data yang didapatkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa restoran \u201cKartiko\u201d merupakan restoran bergaya peranakan yang merupakan hasil akulturasi dari tiga kebudayaan, yaitu Tiongkok, Indonesia (Jawa), dan Belanda. Tujuan pemilik restoran mendirikan restoran bergaya peranakan adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai budaya peranakan pada pelanggan, terutama anak-anak muda.
