rendant consommateurs d\u2019objets dont nous ne ma\u00eetrisons ni ne connaissons les provenances et les cons\u00e9quences, autrement dit les \u00e9cologies, se pose la question de la compr\u00e9hension et de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la technique pour une \u201cresponse-abilisation\u201d commune. C\u2019est en ce sens qu\u2019une s\u00e9rie de mouvements r\u00e9cents se sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s autour de l\u2019invention d\u2019outils de production ouverts, locaux, visibles et appr\u00e9hendables, motiv\u00e9s par une volont\u00e9 de d\u00e9mocratisation et de partage. Mais, malgr\u00e9 la port\u00e9e et l\u2019importance de ces initiatives, elles sont souvent pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es et trait\u00e9es comme de simples moyens alternatifs, alors que r\u00e9side dans cette socialisation de la mise en \u0153uvre des opportunit\u00e9s de transformations fondamentales du rapport \u00e0 la technique. Dans cette th\u00e8se, est propos\u00e9 d\u2019explorer les conditions d\u2019invention, de d\u00e9veloppement et de partage de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s techniques impliquant la pleine prise en compte de leurs r\u00e9gimes esth\u00e9tiques et symboliques. Cette technicit\u00e9 sensible inscrite dans un r\u00e9seau de significations culturelles, qualifi\u00e9e de technophanie par Simondon en miroir \u00e0 la hi\u00e9rophanie d\u2019Eliade, permet de puiser dans des imaginaires communs pour int\u00e9resser des collectifs et en fournir les cl\u00e9s de probl\u00e9matisation. R\u00e9int\u00e9grant le geste dans le processus de production, ces \u201cmanufactures technophaniques\u201d nous sortent de l\u2019in\u00e9luctabilit\u00e9 du progr\u00e8s technique froid et distant, elles cherchent \u00e0 nous faire \u201caimer les techniques \u00e0 nouveau\u201d pour devenir choses publiques, \u201cres publica\u201d, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire objets capables de f\u00e9d\u00e9rer des collectifs concern\u00e9s par leurs pratiques. L\u2019invention de tels proc\u00e9d\u00e9s, liant r\u00e9gimes techniques, symboliques, esth\u00e9tiques, scientifiques, \u00e9cologiques et pratiques, n\u00e9cessite une approche propre au design. Il s\u2019agit de rendre appr\u00e9hendables, au sens perceptif et physique du terme, des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s habituellement
